Wet Floors

Wet floors are usually also slippery floors. Over the years we have brought many hundreds of claims for people who have slipped on them, and suffered injuries as a result. From workplaces, to supermarkets, to public buildings, it is an inescapable fact that floors become wet.

This happens for various reasons. In a recently settled case Mrs M slipped and fell at work because the mat that should have been behind the entrance door had been removed. It was raining, and the floor became wet as people came into the building with wet shoes.

Andrew Marsden of our Batley office brought Mrs M’s claim for her, acting under a no win no fee agreement. The case was successful – her employer had a duty to replace the missing mat, and they had failed to do so.

If you have been injured in an accident that was not your fault give Andrew a call on 01924 473065, email [email protected] or use livechat on our website. Initial advice is at no charge to you, and you may be able to claim compensation for what has happened.
