Bedford Autodrome is the home of Jonathan Palmers racetrack and raceschool
Invited by Yell.com, Nick Battye attended in July 2007 and was able to sample a wide range of racecars ranging from Caterham 7 superlights to single seat race cars - the Formula Audi. The conditions were extremely variable - ranging from dry to very wet so the driving was at times challenging.
Nick was presented with an award as the most accomplished driver in the single seat cars by Jonathan Palmer, ex formula-1 driver, himself (pictured right)
