Home Information Packs - HIPs On the 1st June 2007 the Government are introducing Hips - Home Information Packs - as a compulsory requirement for all persons marketing their property for sale. Originally quite involved and with a lot to consider, the regulations and requirements have been gradually watered down to the point that the process is now reasonably straightforward and not as costly as was first envisaged. It will be an offence to market a property without a HIP. You therefore need to obtain a HIP by approaching your HIP provider, such as ourselves. We are able to collate all the documents and searches within 7 days and to liase directly with your nominated estate agent so that you can immediately integrate the HIPs info into the sales particulars. The HIP will broadly consist of - an energy
performance certificate searches which explain about boundaries and potential building nearby property particulars some legal information relating to the ownership You will need a solicitor to provide this information as it will be relied upon by the purchasers of your property Contact us now to instruct us to prepare your HIP or to seek further advice.
