Hearing Test
Working closely with a specialist audiologist we have
devised the simple but helpful test set out below to assist you in
determining whether you may have hearing loss. Whilst it is no
substitute for having a real test, taken by a qualified specialist, it at
least should give you some idea as to whether you are potentially suffering
hearing damage.
Please take 5 minutes to complete the test, and if it does confirm you may have damage, call Nick Battye on 01274 864002 who will arrange a free hearing test with one of our hearing specialists.
Do you hear better with one ear then the other?
Have any of your relatives had or got a hearing loss? Have you had any significant exposure to noise either at work or play? Do you find it hard to follow conversation in a crowded room? Do you feel people mumble? Do you find it hard to keep up with the speech on television? Do you find you need "subtitles" on television? Do you find it hard to understand a speaker at a public meeting or a church service? Do you find men's voices easier to hear then women? Does your family complain about your television being on loo loud? Do you feel embarrassed about your hearing problem? Does your hearing problem cause you to visit friends and family less often? Do friends and family find it hard to communicate with you because of your hearing? If you have answered, "yes" to 3 or more answers, then you have a hearing loss, and you should address the problem now to maximise the hearing you have left - Call us on 01274 864002 and ask for Nick Battye |
