BBC Children in Need

Partner Nick Battye is a member of the Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club and took part in a sponsored fancy dress sail in aid of Children in Need 2009

Nick was dressed as Del Trotter dressed as Batman and struggled with a cape that kept blinding him at inopportune moments throughout the race! (see opposite)

Nick's son, Nicholas was dressed as a member of the Thunderbirds.  Unfortunately his visor misted up so he too could not see; with the result that he fell in!

Nick's wife, Patsy was dressed as a scarily realistic Jack Sparrow; bested only by a scarier Jack Sparrow (Ian Escritt) who was in a a bigger and also therefore scarier boat

Through kind donations from the staff of Brearleys Solicitors Nick and his family raised £104
