Charity walk Nick Battye, Emily Bird and Nick Berry undertook a walk on behalf of and in aid of Marie Curie Cancer care up Snowdon (and back down again!) on Saturday the 23rd June 2007. We managed to raise a substantial sum thanks to all our generous supporters and the kind donations provided. We made a special effort as a 'thanks' ; completing the walk up and down in just under 3 hours 30 mins Previous years have seen the trio take on and complete the three peaks walk in Yorkshire - Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent and Whernside, raising large amountsof money for Marie Curie in the process. Donations, however big or small are still most welcome. Marie Curie is our nominated charity for the year and we feel carries out excellent and irreplaceable work in the community for people who really need their care. Next year we are planning the Lyke Wake walk |
